Pricing questions
Is there a free trial on paid plans?
Yes. Pro and Enterprise come with a 14-day free trial. The Free plan needs no card and never expires.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. There is no contract or cancellation fee. Cancel or switch plans from your dashboard whenever you like.
What counts as a staff member?
Any person who can be booked or who has a login to your dashboard. Free includes 1 staff member, Pro includes up to 3, and Enterprise has no limit.
Does SalonBook take a commission on bookings?
Never. There is no marketplace commission, no per-client fee and no setup fee. Your subscription is the only charge from SalonBook.
Are payment processing fees included?
Card processing is handled by your own Stripe, Square or PayPal account, and those providers charge their standard fees directly. SalonBook does not add anything on top.
What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing is discounted about 26%: Pro is $348 per year (about $29 per month) instead of $39 monthly, and Enterprise is $828 per year (about $69 per month) instead of $89 monthly.
What happens if I upgrade or downgrade mid-cycle?
Plan changes take effect immediately and billing is prorated through your payment provider, so you only pay for the time you spend on each plan.
Is a custom domain included?
Yes on Pro and Enterprise. Connect your own domain and SalonBook issues the SSL certificate automatically. Free accounts use a SalonBook address.
Do you charge for SMS reminders?
SMS notifications are part of the Pro and Enterprise feature set. You connect your own SMS provider credentials, so message delivery costs are billed by that provider, not marked up by SalonBook.
What is on Enterprise that is not on Pro?
Unlimited staff, the headless JSON data API, and headless mode (hide the hosted public page and power your own site). Everything else in Pro is also in Enterprise.
